STATUS: Ottley Music School Inc. established and operating since 1973, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization from 2002, chartered in the State of Maryland in 1998.
Scientific research has proven that the study of music enhances the learning of all other subjects and productivity in adults. Therefore, we teach people of all ages who want to learn music after noon and in the evenings. We hold all day camps, seminars, and institutes in the summer.
Please browse the site and acquaint yourself with the programs and events going on. We are sure that you, your children or someone you know can benefit from the diversity of and the expert tutelage offered at OMS. Our benefits reach out also to their schools, churches, and civic or social organizations.

Our Spring 14-week term began March 11, 2013. We offer three (3) new piano classes (for 5-7 persons per class):
TEENS & ADULTS,
MIDDLE SCHOOL (ages 11-14), and
ELEMENTARY (ages 7-10), plus the on-going
PRE-SCHOOL CLASS, Music for Little Mozarts (ages 3 1/2 to 6).
Class tuition is at last year's prices.

1. Samuel A. Thompson, our new Violin Teacher
Mr. Thompson comes with high recommendations from 4 different organizations nationwide. He is an exceptional violinist, an effective teacher, and also a writer. Mr. Thompson teaches all ages, and is very good teaching high school students, preparing them for college and conservatory, or just to help them develop into sought-after artists. He is at Ottley Music School on Wednesdays.
