FAQ’s

would like to discontinue lessons due to concerns regarding exposure to the coronavirus. Can I get a partial refund for the rest of the semester?

Not at this time. Beginning Monday, March 16 and for the foreseeable future, all private lessons will be moved VIRTUAL to ensure the continuity and same value of instruction, which is essential. Ottley Music School is actively working to ensure that we are able to continue delivering quality musical instruction to our students. We are also preparing for the annual Guild Auditions.

We are concerned about being exposed to the coronavirus. How are you ensuring that your faculty and staff do not have the virus?

Ottley Music School is closely following all of the guidelines set in place by CDC and are asking faculty and staff to notify us immediately if they experience symptoms.  We are also taking enhanced measures to diligently clean and disinfect our school on a daily basis.

Upcoming Ottley Music School events; are these events happening?
Both the Hillhaven Recital for Saturday March 21, and the School Recital on Tuesday, March 24 are cancelled. The National Guild auditions are not till May 12 and 13, 2020. We expect to be back at the school long before that.

My child has a lesson this week, will Ottley Music School be open?
For the foreseeable future, we’re moving all private lessons to virtual classrooms using FaceTime, or Google Hangouts, or Skype, or  Zoom beginning Monday, March 16 to ensure the continuity of instruction, which is essential. A separate communication about Group Instruction adjustments is pending.
